Two modes of action for a double assault on pests
Tandem gets its broad-spectrum control from two active ingredients with different modes of action: - Lambda-cyhalothrin is contained within thousands of iCAP™ technology, which are designed to be picked up by insects as they crawl over treated surfaces. Smaller microcaps release the active ingredient immediately for quick control, while larger microcaps release it slowly over time for more lasting control.
- The systemic activity in thiamethoxam enables Tandem to be quickly absorbed by plants to control honeydew-producing insects like aphids and mealy bugs which, in turn, helps control ants that eat the honeydew.
