Tandem is a fast-acting contact and systemic insecticide that features the power of two active ingredients. Its iCAP™ technology formulation features smaller microcaps that release the active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin quickly for immediate control, while larger microcaps release slowly for residual control. The systemic activity offered by its other active ingredient, thiamethoxam, allows Tandem to be quickly absorbed and distributed within plants to control honeydew-producing insects like aphids and mealy bugs. This also helps control ants, such as Argentine ants, that rely on honeydew producers as a major food source.
With more than 50 application sites on the label, Tandem can be applied inside and outside of structures and modes of transportation, such as trucks and buses. Tandem can also be applied as a course low-pressure spray, power spray, paint-on, crack-and-crevice or spot treatment, and even as an expandable foam into voids or via fixed, in-wall delivery systems.
