Cockroaches have existed for 300 million years, thanks to their unique ability to adapt to environmental threats. In fact, PCT magazine’s annual “State of the Cockroach Market” report, published in July, found that 33 percent of Pest Management Professionals (PMPs) have experienced increased cockroach-related service calls since 2015.1To keep customer callbacks – and bait resistance – at bay, implementing an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach as part of a bait rotation program is crucial. Syngenta is proud to offer Advion® Cockroach gel bait to aid your IPM efforts for reliable and consistent cockroach control.
A fast-acting, long-lasting formulation you can rely on
Advion Cockroach targets all prevailing pest species of cockroaches including German, American and Oriental, and effectively differentiates between target insects and non-target insects through its unique mode of action. While the active ingredient, indoxacarb, is bioactivated by the enzymes within target insects, the process is not as efficient within non-target insects, so they are less likely to be affected by the bait. Palatable to cockroaches for up to three months after application, Advion Cockroach is formulated to control gel bait-averse and non-averse species for consistent, thorough cockroach control.
Chain reaction cockroach control
Because there is a slight delay in mortality, Advion Cockroach is the first cockroach bait proven to feature tertiary kill.2 One cockroach exposed to the product can carry it back to a harborage site and transfer it to another cockroach, which can then expose it to a third cockroach, ultimately contaminating and controlling up to 54 cockroaches from the source.
Advion Cockroach was formulated to achieve targeted results quickly, reliably and with minimum disruption to normal routines. Choose Advion Cockroach gel bait to help your customers experience a cockroach-free environment. For more information, contact your local Syngenta territory manager.
